In attendance: Mike Wall, David Brodeur, Russ Douglas, David Robinson, Roger Drury, Tom Saunders, and Andy Bain.
Absent: Larry Corse (proxy David Brodeur), David Jones, Satish Shah, Todd Fibus (proxy Tom Saunders), Ron Kozak (proxy Tom Saunders), Peter Carnell (proxy to David Robinson), Steve Shockley (proxy to Russ Douglas), Jennifer Mullins, (proxy to Roger Drury), Holly Deveny, and Vreni Ludin.

Minutes from last month were approved.
Tom Saunders presented the treasurer’s report and monthly valuation statement. The money on hand as of November 30, 2002 was $1315. The unit valuation was 14.77. The money collected tonight was $1250.
Suggestions were made to set up the audit team
Motion was made to reimburse Tom S. for 1065 software, which is used for tax purposes. Other club members passed this motion.
David B, presented the Dig Board. Members discussed various companies in the club’s portfolio.
Presentations:
Mike Wall gave a comparison of Apollo, Career Corp, Corinthian Colleges, Education Corp., and ITT Services, Inc. using a BetterInvesting Stock Comparison Guide.
Roger Drury presented an update on ITT Services, Inc a company he had presented before.
David Brodeur presented Amgen, Inc., which is the world’s largest biotech company. It is in the buy zone. David also presented information about financial statements and calculating ratios, which provides helpful analysis of companies.
DIG Members discussed various companies, which were in the buy zone. A motion was made to invest tonight’s funds in Home Depot. The other members passed this motion.
Next month’s meeting will fall on Wednesday January 1, 2003, which is a holiday. The meeting will then be held on Thursday January 2, 2003. An email will be sent out to confirm this date change.
