Diversity Investment Group Minutes of the Meeting

October 2, 2002

In attendance: Holly Deveny, Tom Saunders, Vreni Ludin, Ron Kozak, Roger Drury, Jennifer Mullins, Satish Shan, Mike Wall, and Russ Douglas.

Absent: Andy Bain, (gave proxy to Tom S.) Larry Corse (gave proxy to Roger D.), David Robinson (gave proxy to Roger D.), Steve Shockley, Todd Fibus, David Brodeur.

Holly D. provided moment of inspiration.

Minutes from September meeting were approved.

Tom S. presented the treasurer report and monthly valuation statement. The money on hand as of September 30, 2002, was $1254.51. The unit valuation was $13.089. Money collected from tonight’s meeting totaled $1150.

The DIG Board was presented. Members were canvassed about their ideas of which company to invest in. Group members discussed their opinions about Cardinal and Adobe. A motion was made and was seconded to put tonight’s funds into Cardinal Health. 

Presentations:

Roger D. presented ITT Educational Services, which provides post secondary degree programs in the US. It is currently in the buy zone. He compared this to Devry, Inc, which was a company he had previously presented.

The meeting was adjourned.
