Tom reviewed the valuation statement. $2,097 to spend tonight. Tom reviewed the Current Holdings spreadsheet and passed around the Etrade statement. Total amount collected: $1,515.
Presentations tonight: Larry Corse. Presentations October: Ron and Todd.
Andy reviewed the DIG Board. Members shared their straw votes for investments.
Motion to spend all of tonight's funds on Tyco was approved.
Larry presented Concord EFS, an EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)
network, consisting of ATMs, etc.
Hist. Rev Growth: 68.8%
Est. Future Rev. Growth: 20%.
Hist EPS Growth: 58.9%
Est. Future EPS Growth: 20.1%.
Current price of $52.75 is a HOLD.
BUY up to $40.30.
It may fall back into the buy zone again in the future.
David Jones presented a review of Microsoft's and Adobe's financial
statements.
Don't just look at the bottom line. Review income carefully.
What is real income? What is rate of increase in future?
David recommends we look at operating income as it has fewer fluctuations.
There are two key indices to consider:
-Percent revenue increase
-Increase on operating income.
Andy presented Holly's packet on pharmaceutical companies/medical supplies industry. Reviewed their SSGs and Value Lines. For the average P/E ratio it is good to have yours match value line's pretty closely.
