David B. shared a comparison of NASDAQ Vs. NYSE investments over
a period of several years. The end results were about the same.
Volatility being the main difference.
Andy shared an article on Franchise Players.
The minutes were approved for last month.
Tom shared several annual reports. He passed around the March bank statements and purchase confirmation from E-Trade.
Any advised we need a membership director…please be thinking
about this and volunteer if you can.

Tom reviewed the valuation statement. Our unit value is at $20.379. DIG is up 9% from last month.
VP Corner:
Holly reviewed the presentation schedule. She also reviewed available
resources to help with using judgment, including pre-tax income,
when doing an SSG.
Holly passed around a sign-up sheet for future presentations.
David B. reviewed the DIG board…and how to do the analyst
report.
David also reviewed who we have as stock analysts for all of our
companies and/or those members helping to maintain a "watch"
on other companies.
David advised the four numbers he needs from each analyst to complete
the DIG board each month.
Tom advised that we have $1,555 to spend this evening. He received checks from everyone.
Tom gave a presentation on American Int'l Group…an insurance
company…large cap.
Current price of $80.70 is a BUY. Bu up to $85.79. He used 33/33/33
for zoning.
Ron Kozak and Marsha Ratka gave a presentation on Allete (ALE),
an auto auction company. Marsha's part of the presentation was
given for consideration for membership.
Allete is also involved in water purification and land sales.
The are going into emerging energy technologies. They had 18%
growth this past year.
Current price of $24.50 is a BUY. Buy up to $25.11.
Marsha was voted in as a member.
We reviewed the DIG board.
A motion to spend all of tonight's funds on ADC Telecom was approved.
Tom advised that we collected $1,510 this evening.
Andy presented Danaher Corp. They own a lot of investments
in tools. They own Matco…a primary supplier for NAPA.
Current price of $55.44 is a HOLD. Buy up to $45.35.
David B. offered to hold an SSG class at his house on Tuesday, May 15th at 7:30 PM. David will send an email to confirm.
