Minutes of the Meeting
March 3, 1999


In attendance: David Brodeur, Roger Drury, David Robinson, Gary 
Kaupman, Andy Bain, Tom Saunders, Larry Corse, Ron Kozak, Todd Fibus, 
Russ Douglas, Holly Deveny

Guests: Peter Carnel, Michael Wall, David Jones, Phil Lynch

Not in Attendance: John Brock, Randy Wilbur, Vinnie Metzger, Daniel 
Bohlman

Checks for monthly dues were received from all members, including absent 
members. Thank you!

Proxies were brought in for Vinnie and John by David B. and Gary.

Tom Saunders was voted in as our new treasurer.

$5,300 needed to buy out our four resigning members (Bobby Lane, 
Jonathan Lerner, Miguel Molina, Steve Weintraub)

Mike Wall invited to join DIG, having attended three meetings. Gave a 
brief presentation and was voted in. Welcome Mike!

David B. was approved to be reimbursed for K-1 software (around $40.00).

David B. reminded everyone of the following:
-Late checks should include an extra $10.00 late fee.
-The penalty for early withdrawal from the club:
 1st year = 20%
 2nd year = 10%
-He will be teaching a class at his house on the Basic SSG on Tuesday, 
March 16 at 7:30 PM.

David B. asked everyone to sign off on a Brokerage Agreement to replace 
Miguel as Treasurer.

For next month's meeting, we have 3 presentations scheduled: Gary, Andy 
and Larry.

Russ gave his presentation on Bristol Myers:
-Recommendation: NOT BUY
-Current Price: $64.50 (top of hold zone)
-Sell zone: $64.60.

Andy gave presentation on Bed, Bath and Beyond:
-Recommendation: (Discussion...% Pretax Income on Rev. going the wrong 
way: NOT BUY.
-Current Price: $32.56.
-Buy Price: Up to $24.

Andy also did a follow up report on Wolverine:
-Price down due to industry being down.
-Profiled by Better Investing.
-Small Cap stock
-Current price of $12.06 in the BUY Zone
-Buy up to $16.08.
-Andy and Gary will do a comparison for next month

David B. gave a presentation on Robert Half:
-Current price of $36 in the BUY Zone.
-Buy up to $45.18.

Gary gave a presentation on Tiffany:
-Recently had a favorable quarterly report.
-Current price of $61 is in the HOLD Zone.
-Buy at or below $50 to $55.
-Will check their 10K when it comes out and advise.

Larry advised there is no new quarterly report for Marriott.

Tom gave brief update on ADP.

Todd advised price of Clayton Homes going down. Pretax earnings up 10%. 
They have taken on more debt.
-Current price of $12.38 in the BUY Zone.
-Buy up to $14.62

Holly and David B. discussed Ionics:
-Competing with US Filters (large competition!) 
-Will take a year or two to turn around
-Current price of $12.38 is in the BUY Zone
-BUY up to $14.62.
-Holly will do an SSG next month to help us better understand it's 
situation.
-(Suffering from "Small Cap Syndrome"???)

Motion approved to NOT buy or sell any stocks this month.
