Minutes of the meeting

1. All members were present except:  Danny, Holly, Tom, Monty, 
Steve &
Randy.

2. Kamlesh Desai & John Stowe resigned.

3. All other members paid in for the month.

4. David R. & Roger will have a pot luck at their home on 
Saturday 10/24.  They will send out details.

5. The minutes of the last meeting were amended to read "66.4% of 
the
shares approved the motion to sell 3com and Seattle Filmworks, 
and purchase Marriott & Gillette.

6. David B. will host a software SSG class on Wednesday, 10/28 at 
7:30.

7. Ron presented Johnson & Johnson, which we agreed was a good 
stock to
follow, but in the hold zone.

8. Todd presented Disney, which was in the buy zone.

9. We had updates from Roger on St. John Knits, Autozone by Gary, 
and Adobe by David B.

10. A motion was made and passed that any dissenting vote on 
future votes will cause an automatic share count to verify the 
vote talley.

10a. A motion to purchase shares of Disney was not approved.

11. The club voted to hold off on investments this month, to pay 
off those that resigned, and invest money next month.
