Members absent: Kyle Bond, Larry Corse, Kamlesh Desai, Holly Devaney, Russ Douglas, Todd Fibus, Ron Kozak, Bobby Lane, Leon Lashner, Vinnie Metzger, Steve Weintraub, Randy Wilbur, Sabrina Young Of these absentees the following had late payments: Kyle, Kamlesh, Russ, Todd, Ron, Bobby, Sabrina. Guests present: Scott Blackman (first visit), Andy Bain (third visit). Phil and Clarissa have resigned from the club and are being bought out. Andy Bain, seeking membership, made the required presentation. It was hilariously funny, so too bad for those of you who missed it... Seriously, though all ten members present voted to admit Andy to the club, we did not have a quorum. This means David will have to canvas missing members for additional votes. In the future, when you must miss a meeting, send your proxy with someone else so that we can conduct business efficiently. Presentations for next month: · Jonathan and Leon will make a further presentation on the assisted living industry. · Kamlesh - ? · Holly - Boeing? · Roger & David R. - ? · David B. Tom made a presentation on Safeskin, a maker of latex gloves; a good company, but no longer a buy. We voted to invest $1,000 in Diebold. Although the price has fallen since our first purchase, we still felt this is a solid company for the long term, and buying more shares at the current price reduces the cost basis of our holdings. It was agreed that Larry Corse, who has missed a number of meetings, could remain in the club, with the understanding that he will redouble his efforts to participate. Submitted by Jonathan Lerner
