Minutes of DIG Meeting Wednesday, July 2nd, 1997

   The minutes of the last meeting were approved.
   All members were present except Randy, John & Monty.
   Six guests were here for their third visit, and were voted into the
   club:  John DePaula, Russel Douglas, Bruce Griffeth, Gary Kauptman, Tom
   Saunders, and Leon Lashner.
   The valuation statement, and member status reports were distributed.
   It was reported that our E-Trade account was opened in June, and we
   purchased stock in Clayton Homes, Techne and 3Com.
   Stock Presentations:
   Clarissa updated Outback, and presented Lonestar
   Todd reviewed Applebees, and presented a comparison with Outback &
   Lonestar.
   Larry reviewed OEA
   David presented Nike
   Stock Updates:
   3Com had good results from their fiscal year, and is still a buy
   Techne went up over 29, and is now a hold
   Clayton is still a buy.
   For the next meeting, Phil, Randy & Vinnie were asked to present new
   companies.
   Buy Decision:  $1000 to Nike; and all but $200 of our balance to 3Com.
