Minutes of Diversity Investment Group for June, 1997

   Partners all introduced themselves.  Guests were introduced later.
   Minutes of the last meeting were approved.
   The treasurer's report was distributed.  This included DIG cash-on-hand,
   and account balances for each member.
   It was reported that our E*Trade application was returned for additional
   information.  It will e resubmitted after this meeting.
   Capital Contributions were collected.  All future contributions should
   be made payable to E*Trade Securities, and the DIG account number placed
   in the memo area.
   Jonathan Lerner was attending his third meeting, and was voted in as a
   partner.  Numerous guests have attended two meetings, and will be
   eligible to join next month.
   Upcoming NAIC course offerings were distributed.
   David will hold an SSG manual session on Wednesday, June 11th at 7:30;
   Todd will hold an on-line SSG session and pool party on Sunday, June 22
   at 1PM.
   Updates on stocks previously presented:
      Miguel - Oracle was $41, now $46; in hold zone
      Clarissa - Outback Steakhouse; at $23, in buy zone
       Vinnie - Money Store; price rose to 26.75; in hold zone
       David - 3Com; rose to $45.94; still in but zone
           Clayton Homes; rose to $15.10; still in buy zone
      Doyle - Diebold $37.63; in hold zone
      Jay - Lowes $38.38; in buy zone; recommend a comparison to Home Depot
      Larry - Symbol Tech; group not comfortable with risks.
   New Stock Reports:
      Randy - Seagate Tech, in hold zone, recommend an SSG
      Todd - Airtouch, in buy zone but group was concerned over high PE
   ratio
      David - Techne Corp, $27.75, in buy zone
   A motion was made, and passed, to buy $1000 of stock in each of 3COM,
   Techne & Clayton Homes.
